| | Tiffin University-McKendree pregame thoughtsSeptember 1, 2012 - Zach BakerAs Gary Goff begins his second season at Tiffin University's coach after a winless 2011 campaign, here are a couple things to look for: -A healthy James Capello at quarterback should be a huge help to the young offense. Capello's rib injury really limited him last season. - Obadiah Dykes, a surprise standout from last season, should be due for a big season at wide receiver. -The Dragons have a chance to start fresh, and the best way to do that is get a victory. But one has to be weary in overstating what a win means. The Dragons defeated Malone to begin the 2010 season, then lost the remainder of their games. What you hope to see today at Frost-Kalnow is a game that isn't full of mistakes, which is hard in week one. But a disciplined Dragons would be a good sign for the rest of the season, regardless of today's outcome. | |
