Gimme a “T”
April 29, 2013 - Rob Weaver
I discovered something interesting during my run last Monday in support of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing — the trail at Tiffin University Nature Preserve forms the outline of a capital letter "T".
I used the RunKeeper app on my iPhone to record my run. The app uses GPS technology to keep track of pace, splits and route. When it was over, I looked at a map of the course and noticed the shape of the trail. I'll attach a file so hopefully, you can see it, too.
Intrigued, I went to the new Mercy Community Nature Preserve last Saturday morning and again used RunKeeper to track my route. Would the trail follow the shape of an "M"?
No. It looked more like an outline of Macedonia.
Nevertheless, it was still a nice, nearly half-mile loop. I suggest you check it out, and all of the other parks in the Seneca County Park District as well. Then, participate in our current online poll and let us know which is your favorite.
