Celebration includes USA-made goods

October 4, 2013 - Rob Weaver
My most recent blog concerned a way to emphasize buying American-made goods. Well, Ralph's Joy of Living not only is wrapping up a three-day celebration of a key expansion of the business, but also is promoting made-in-the-USA goods at the same time.

Ralph's is marking the 10th anniversary of the Joy of Living addition. The business has been offering wine samples, product demonstrations and giveaways, including a Wusthof knife set, Le Creuset cookware and a Haier 22-inch, flat-screen TV.

Meanwhile, the store, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, is showcasing its domestic products. You'll find pots and pans, mixers, blenders, cutlery, kitchen mats, cutting boards, carts and more, all made in America by Americans.

Plus, shoppers can keep their dollars in the county.

I need to replace an electric wall panel heater and did a Google search for "electric wall panel heaters". Found several, some made in Canada and others made in other countries. Then added "made in the usa" to the search and found heaters that use less power and put out more heat and cost less. Thanks Rob!
