No. 1 H-L 42, St. Wendelin 12

October 24, 2008 - Zach Baker

Tyler Brown is turning the remarkable into the average. You almost expect him to be brilliant.

The Hopewell-Loudon quarterback completed 20-21 passes Friday night as the No. 1 Chieftains romped St. Wendelin, 42-12.

Brown ended up completing 20 straight passes. His first attempt of the night was intercepted. That turnover led to the Mohawks taking a 6-0 lead on a 29-yard pass from Chase Beam to Kevin Eibner.

Brown threw six touchdown passes, three to Andrew Brickner.

With the win, the Chieftains finish the regular season 10-0 for the fourth time in five seasons.
