TU men v. Findlay
January 22, 2009 - Zach Baker
Findlay is No. 1 in the country and the Dragons have yet to win a GLIAC game. TU's going to need every player to have the game of his life just to keep it close. As I write this, it's 10-2 Findlay. Make that 12-2 Findlay with a foul shot coming.
16:46 left in the half. Findlay is just ridiculous on offense, turning almost everything -- a miss, a turnover, anything, into a transition basket. Findlay's Lee Roberts in particular looks outstanding.
-At the first media break, it's 21-9 Findlay. Marcus Parker has 10 points already, and there's 14:18 left in the half.
- With 4:41 left, Findlay leads 36-19. The Dragons got the deficit down to five (22-17), but Findlay has been on a 14-2 run since then.
-At the half, it's 51-29 Findlay.
-With 14:40 left, Findlay leads, 62-41. The Dragons are playing very hard, but the Oilers are a well-oiled machine. Parker has 18 points, but the most impressive thing is the way they attack on offense. TU likes to attack as well, but the confidence isn't as developed, and the talent isn't that mature.
Donnell Patterson is having a career night for TU, with 18 points so far.
With 8:05 left, Findlay leads, 83-54.
