Bataille wins national 55 again

Heidelberg's Judy Bataille picked up her second-consecutive national title in the 55-meter race Saturday.

Bataille finished first at the Division III National meet, a day after Julius Higginbotham took ninth in the long jump and Tomika Brown tied for seventh in the high jump.

Bataille's Saturday time of 7.02 was the best time in Division III this season.

Bataille is the first two-time national track champion for Heidelberg since Greg Tyson won the long jump in 2006 and 2007.
