OAC baseball standings check

April 18, 2009 - Zach Baker

Heidelberg's baseball team has won 10 straight Ohio Athletic Conference games, and finds itself alone in first, one game ahead of Marietta.

The Pioneers are responsible for the Princes' two conference losses. The former slipped out of a tie for first by splitting with Muskingum Thursday.

In about 12 hours, Heidelberg takes on Baldwin-Wallace (6-6 OAC) in Tiffin. The Princes have two sets of conference doubleheaders remaining after Saturday.

Basically, Heidelberg controls its own destiny in the race for an OAC title, and a chance to host the conference tournament for the third-straight year.
