Fog stops Heidelberg... until Thursday morning

Heidelberg was leading Adrian, 4-1 in the top of the third. Adrian had two on.

Then the fog rolled in, which suspended the Student Princes' regional opener. So the game will be picked up tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. at Marietta.

Ethan Holt started for HU. It will be interesting to see what Heidelberg coach Matt Palm opts to do when the game picks up again. Does he go to a reliever like Willard's Sylvester Nino? Or does he allow Holt to come back?

I'm guessing he'll go with a reliever, but we'll see.
