Columbian 12, Ross 7, 11:55 left in half. Tyler Trautwein caps a 14-play, 72 yard drive with a 2-yard run off a direct snap. Trautwein has been the workhorse. It' 14-12 Ross with 5:13 left in the half. Nine plays, 70 yards for TC. Another big pass play to Hernandez, which sets up a 1-yard Ryan Tittle run. Hernandez catches a two-pointer, it's 20-14 TC with 3:20 left in the half. We head to half with TC up, 20-14. Caden Chapman's 34-yard field goal at the end of the half fell short. Ross had driven to the TC Red Zone, but back-to-back sacks, the second one causing a fumble, ended the threat and gave TC one of its own. Exciting first half. OK, On a third and long, with TC in shotgun, the ball was snapped behind Tittle. He retrieved it. rolled right and tossed a pass to a wide open Austin Bentz, who then ran about 30 yards for a score. But 56 seconds later, Stout scores on a 1-yard run after a kick return and 25-yard pass. With 7:29 left in the third, it's 26-21 TC. Goliday just plawed in for 11 yards out. It's 34-21 after a Hernandez 2-pointer. 34-21 TC, 10 minutes left in the game. It looks over. A Tittle interception of Wolf and an 8-yard Goliday run turn it into a 40-21 TC lead at the 7:53 mark. | |
