Ivory's big day

October 17, 2010 - Zach Baker
It's enough to make you wonder what might have been.

Chris Ivory played four games for the Tiffin last season. Then he hurt his leg and was done for the season. Due in part to new surroundings and a new offense (Ivory transferred from Washington State before 2009) he didn't look all that comfortable until the first half of last year's game with Ashland.

Then he got hurt.

Today, Ivory established himself as more than capable NFL running back. He ran 15 times for 158 yards, adding a 17-yard reception in New Orleans' 31-6 win over the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay.

What would have happened had Ivory been healthy for Tiffin? I don't know.

I just wish he had been.
