| | Deja vu!October 30, 2010 - Janet DelTurco It seems I have been here before. After another round of surgery, this time to remove the hardware from my foot, I am back off my feet again. It is very frustrating as there is so much yet to be done outside, but there are some benefits. My daughter Vicki is here from Nashville, so for the most part I can lounge on the couch with books, laptop, telephone, Kindle, knitting and cross stitch, and all my meals are prepared and brought to me. Hard to quarrel with that. Not so good is the main reason Vicki is here. Brittany and Tom's eagerly awaited daughter arrived two days ago, but she was sent to St. V's with some lung problems, and although she is doing well there, it is a continuing worry. But Sophia is getting the best care, and we have hopes that she will only be up there a few more days. So gardening is not in the front of my mind this week. I hope November will have a fewgood days to offer once things calm down and I am on my feet again. I have almost got things cleaned up outside, although there are a few more perennials to cut back, and the paths need cleaning otf. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article.
