TU hires Gary Goff as football coach

After interviewing six candidates, Tiffin University has hired West Virginia Wesleyan coach Gary Goff as its head football coach.

Goff, a former kick returner/receiver at Division II Valdosta State University in Georgia who graduated in 1996, has been in the college coaching ranks since 2002. This is his first head coaching job.

He spent one year at West Virginia Wesleyan, where he helped the program improve from 2-8 in 2009 to 8-2 this year.

He has also been an assistant at Princeton, New Mexico State University, Southeastern Louisiana University and Iowa Wesleyan.
