Condo fever

Work is under way on these units at Oakley Meadow.
Two condominium units at the new Oakley Meadow subdivision have been sold, although both still are skeletal images of the features they will display when finished. Bish Construction — owned by Linda and Kevin Bish — is working to construct what is the first in 31 units in the area off Cherry and Earl streets, behind an expanse of trees near the St. Francis properties. Although the new owners would have city utilities, they would have the feel of country living, Linda Bish said. One of the units being completed will be used as a showcase home, featuring 1,750 square feet and a sunroom. The sunroom and a lower patio are one of the options owners have when they pre-purchase. Other options include finishing the full basement, converting space to a third bedroom or additional storage space. Standard are oak six-panel doors, oak cabinets and an insulated, finished 24-foot by 24-foot two-car garage.
