One school district is watching its new school grow while two others are making plans to break ground. The Buckeye Central Local School District is preparing to move four buildings into one facility. It is under construction on the south side of New Washington, at the corner of SR 602 and Guiss Road. The Clyde-Green Springs Exempted Village School District and the Lakota Local School District are making plans. Last week, Ronald Cirata, Buckeye Central’s superintendent, said the project probably was about two-thirds done, and officials are anticipating opening the building at the beginning of the 2009-10 school year. “It’s great (to watch),” he said. “I think the educational facility, it will be a community center for the community.” Cirata said the building has a high school wing for grades 9-12, an elementary wing for grades K-4 and a second-floor middle school for grades 5-.
