Rachel Zimmerman and Dan Leis exchanged wedding vows at 3 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009, at Poland (Ohio) United Methodist Church. The Revs. Dan Yargo and Tim O'Neill were officiants during the double-ring service. A reception was at Mahoning Country Club in Girad.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Carol Zimmerman of Lowellville.
The bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Jeanne Leis of Tiffin.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin, strapless gown featuring a slimming v-back. The bodice was intricately beaded and embroidered, with chapel length train. Her headpiece was a sheer, waist-length veil made by the bride's mother. She carried a bouquet of red and orange roses and yellow calla lilies mixed with hypericum berries and tied with a silver satin ribbon.
The attendants wore hunter green, sleeveless V-neckline dresses of tea-length with a silver beaded jacket. They carried a smaller version of the bride's bouquet.
Jen Bailey of Baltimore, Md., friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Becky Zimmerman of Ann Arbor, Mich., sister of the bride; and Jackie Zimmerman of Baton Rouge, La., cousin of the bride.
Austin Leis of Port Clinton, nephew and godson of the groom, was the ring bearer.
Andy Leis of Port Clinton was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Jack Zimmerman of Poland, brother of the bride; and Ryan Profera of Columbus, friend of the groom.
The bride, a 2003 graduate of Lowellville High School, graduated in 2009 from Ohio Northern University. She is a pharmacist at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit.
The bridegroom graduated in 2003 from Calvert High School and in 2007 from Ohio Northern University. He is a tax consultant for Deloitte and Touche in Detroit.
Honoring the bride with miscellaneous showers were Ashley and Jeanne Leis July 19, 2009, and her bridesmaids Aug. 15, 2009.
A rehearsal dinner was at Antone's Italian Grille, Youngstown.
The couple resides in Grosse Point, Mich.
