JB Tours moves offices to East Lytle Street

The Advertiser-Tribune

FOSTORIA - JB Tours, a motor coach tour company and vacation planner, has moved its offices to 545 E. Lytle St., Fostoria.

Now at the former site of the Bargain Bin store, JB tours moved from its shared space with Bliss Tours, 1415 Sandusky St.

Joe Bouillon, owner and operator of JB Tours since 1982, said growth of both businesses was a major reason for the move.

"We've shared office space with Bliss Charters since 1993 and have since grown to the point where we both need more room," Bouillon said. "Bliss alone has expanded their fleet of motor coaches over the years, which means a bigger staff."

Bouillon said the close relationship with Bliss Charters has blurred the fact they are separate companies. Although they now are in separate locations, they plan to continue the close relationship.

The precursor to JB Tours started in the mid-to-late 1970s when Bouillon began taking people on day trips using school buses, and eventually using motor coaches from different companies.

The company was formed in 1982 and operated from Countyline Street locations throughout the 1980s.

Bouillon then convinced his late brother-in-law, Bill Feasel, who at the time was operating Bill's Gulf Station at Union and Summit streets, to buy a motor coach. The first bus arrived Oct. 8, 1988, (8-8-88) and the fleet has grown to eight coaches.

JB Tours offers motor coach trips, along with trips within the United States and to Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, Australia, Central and South America. The company also coordinates cruises to many locations.

The (419) 435-8165 phone number and (800) 686-6807 toll-free number remain the same.
