Christine Marie Patterson and Kevin Thomas Lucius were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 22, 2009, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Westerville. The Rev. Rod Damico was officiant of the double-ring Catholic nuptial Mass. A reception followed at Germania in downtown Columbus.
Christine is the daughter of Scott and Rebecca Patterson of Westerville. She is a 2000 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School and a 2004 graduate of Ohio Weslyan University. She is the owner and designer of Lucius Fine Jewelry.
Kevin is the son of Thomas and Karen Lucius of Tiffin. He is a 2000 graduate of Calvert High School and a 2004 graduate of Bowling Green State University. He is a graphic designer.

Christine, given in marriage by her father, wore a white, strapless A-line Sottero and Midgley gown that featured a corset tie closure. The gown had an assymetrically draped bodice accented with embellished lace, ruching and beading. The palace satin skirt was bustled at the right, front side and the center of the back to reveal sparkling lace motifs with pickups. She carried a bouquet of white and aqua lilies, stephanotis, delphinium, hydrangeas, hanging orchids and curly willow branches. She made and wore a sterling silver and light blue topaz necklace as well.
Danielle O'Connell of Cincinnati was her friend's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Andrea Lucius of Chicago, sister of the groom; Karen O'Keefe of Vineland, N.J., friend of the bride; Maura Green of New York, N.Y., friend of the bride; and Nikki Baxter of Indianapolis, friend of the bride. They wore strapless, pool-colored charmeuse dresses that were knee-length and featured side draping skirts. They each carried bouquets of white hydrangeas with white, curly willow branches and each wore a sterling silver and light blue topaz necklace crafted by the bride.
Kevin Cahill of Gahanna was his friend's best man. Groomsmen were Tommy Patterson of Columbus, brother of the bride; Rob Ritzler of Findlay, friend of the groom; Tim Zachrich of Pickerington, friend of the groom; and Ryan Hughes of Beaumont, Calif., friend of the groom.
Karen and Andrea Lucius hosted a miscellaneous shower for the bride June 6, 2009, and Danielle O'Connell hosted a miscellaneous bridal shower July 11, 2009.
The rehearsal dinner was at Schmidts in the German Village, Columbus.
Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the newlyweds reside in Chicago.
