Merlin and Elaine Batdorff celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Aug. 24, 2010.
Merlin and the former Elaine Jameson were married Aug. 24, 1946, at Firestone Park Presbyterian Church in Akron.
They have two children, Susan Riley of Tiffin and Sandy (Lou) Petros of Mount Vernon; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
