Purkey-Allgeier

Amy Purkey and Andrew Allgeier exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m April 10, 2010, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. The Rev. Nicholas Weibl was officiant during the double-ring service. A reception followed at Findlay Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Leon and Annette Purkey of Risingsun.

The groom is the son of John and Beth Allgeier of Dover, Ind.

Rachel Clover of Silver Springs, Md., was the bride's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Duque of Columbus, Aubrey Sewell of West Chester, Laura Schlabach of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jenna Boles of Kettering.

Hannah Rader of Bellefontaine, goddaughter of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Madison Reinhart of Fremont, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Adam Allgeier of Charlestown, Ky., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Aaron Allgeier of Wilder, Ky., Chad Purkey of Brooklyn, N.Y., Nick Benson of Wrentham, Mass., and Zach Cato of Lexington, Ky.

The bride, a 2003 graduate of St. Wendelin High School, graduated in 2007 from Bluffton University with an English degree. She is a youth services specialist at Washington-Centerville Public Library.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of East Central High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Evansville with a degree in computer engineering. He is employed as a defense contractor.

The couple resides in Centerville following a honeymoon to Ireland.
