Nicole Hodgson and Brett Arnold exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. July 3, 2010, at Vanlue United Methodist Church. Erma Metzger was officiant during the double-ring service. A reception followed at Carey Shrine Cafeteria.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Lori Ellis of Carey and Bryan and Jodi Klaus of Bluffton.

The groom is the son of Brian Arnold of Carey and Danita Higgins of Alvada.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and stepfather.

Shannon Andersen of Findlay was the bride's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelli Miller of Vanlue, Ashley Wright of Arlington, Jackie Uselton of Greenwich and Stephanie Xavier of Springfield.

The flower girls were Aubree Higgins of Upper Sandusky, niece of the groom, and Kyrstin Moore of MiddlePoint, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Tristan Wilson, nephew of the groom.

Vincent Windau of Carey was the best man. Groomsmen were Jason Frisch of Markle, Ind., Jarrod Bowers of Findlay, Nick Klein of Carey and Nate Miller of Vanlue.

The bride, a 2002 graduate of Vanlue High School, graduated in 2006 from Rhodes State College with a degree in nursing. She works on the labor and delivery floor at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

The groom, a 1999 graduate of Vanlue High School, graduated in 2004 from The University of Findlay with a degree in early childhood education and is working to fulfill a master's degree there in special education. He is a teacher at Seneca County Opportunity Center.

The couple resides in Republic following a honeymoon to Jamaica.
