Valerie Hunt and Michael Beerbower exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. April 17, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. The Rev. Gary Walters was officiant during the double-ring service. The reception took place at Sycamore Community Center.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Maxine Hunt of Tiffin.
The bridegroom is the son of Dodie Beerbower of Erie, Pa., and Tim and Mona Beerbower of Belle Vernon, Pa.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown. Silver embroidery embellished with sequins and bugle beads accented the halter neckline and bodice. The bodice also featured cafe-colored, double-peaked empire bands. A pyramid of beaded embroidery embellished the skirt of the A-line gown, and double cafe-colored satin bands encircled the hemline and chapel-length train. She wore a double-layered, waist-length veil and carried a bouquet of white roses.
The attendants wore satin dresses. The ivory strapless bodices tucked behind empire bands that flowed into the black, A-line, tea-length skirts. They all carried bouquets of white roses.
Sarah Hunt of Athens was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie (Keefe) Brant of Upper Sandusky, Megan Marinis of Raleigh, N.C., and Andrea Toney of Troy, friends of the bride.
Sofia Masi of Erie, Pa., cousin of the groom, was the flower girl, and the ring bearer was Travis Geary of Sycamore, cousin of the bride.
Jamie Warburton of Ithaca, N.Y., was the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Ben Hager of Belle Vernon, Pa., brother-in-law of the groom, Kevin Hunt of Columbus, brother of the bride, and Tim Streett of Blacksburg, Va., friend of the groom.
The bride, a 2001 graduate of Calvert High School, received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University and is the public relations specialist for Five Rivers MetroParks in Dayton.
The bridegroom, a 1999 graduate of Mercyhurst Preparatory School in Erie, Pa., received a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in applied intelligence in 2003 and 2008, respectively, from Mercyhurst College. He is an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Air Force.
Honoring the bride with showers were her mother in January 2010 and the bridegroom's mother in March 2010.
The rehearsal dinner took place at Pioneer Mill, Tiffin.
The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica and reside at 633 Schuyler Drive, Kettering.
