Rick and Peg Swartz celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family barbecue and party June 12, 2010.
The couple was married June 12, 1970, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. Robert Holden.
Peg is the daughter of the late Margaret and Raymond Schmidutz. She is a nurse at St. Francis Convent.

Rick is the son of Roy Swartz of Marblehead and the late Lucille Swartz. He is self-employed and owns Swartz Design and Construction.
They are parents of four children, Beth of Bowling Green, Eric (Joy) of Toledo, Keith (Tammy) of Marblehead and Tim of Columbus. Five grandchildren complete their family.
