Local car show to raise money for Epilepsy Foundation

New Beginnings Church, 733 N. Sandusky St., is having a car show 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

Advance registration can be done online at www.newbeginningscarshow.com or 10 a.m.-1 p.m. the day of the event.

The entry fee of $10 includes a hog roast dinner to be served at 1 p.m. Meal-only tickets are $5. Other foods are to be available also.

The festivities include door prizes, T-shirts, a live radio broadcast, sprint car simulators, free inflatables and children's activities and a dunk tank featuring employees from the Seneca County Sheriff's department.

The church also will have a bake sale and a pie contest.

Public parking for the event will be at New Haven, located just South of New Beginnings Assembly of God.

The event schedule is as follows:

10 a.m.: Registration begins.

11 a.m.: Car show opens.

Noon: Angel Food drawing.

1 p.m.: Registration ends, lunch served, Angel Food drawing, dunk tank closes.

2 p.m.: Dunk Tank re-opens, Angel Food drawing, pie judging begins.

3 p.m.: Auction, trophy presentations, Angel Food drawing.

4 p.m.: Car show closes.

Proceeds from the show are to be divided between Invincible Student Ministries and the Epilepsy Foundation.
