Jill Scherley and Jason Burkholder exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. July 24, 2010, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Attica. The Rev. Paul Fahrbach was officiant during the double-ring service. A reception followed at Attica Fairgrounds.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Sue Scherley of Bellevue.
The bridegroom is the son of Gerald and Patricia Burkholder of Republic.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white chantilly lace over satin gown. The sheer, lace one-shoulder neckline transformed into three satin straps sweeping across the back. The empire-look bodice was embellished with pearls, seed beads, bugle beads and sequins. Asymmetrical ruching formed the dropped waist, where more beading accented above the gathered skirt and chapel train. She carried a cascading bouquet of pink stargazer lilies, white mini calla lilies and white stephanotis.
The attendants wore clover-colored soft, crinkle chiffon halter dresses with waists that gathered into a side cascade. They carried arm bouquets of three large, white calla lilies tied with pink satin ribbon.
Kathy Dendinger of Tiffin was her friend's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Stoker and Jessica Allgyre of Columbus, Jessie Smith of Attica, Katrina Coleman of Maumee and Sarah Porter of Republic.
Rusty Wagner of Kettering was his friend's best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Wagner of Trenton, Michael Burkholder of Republic, Scott Scherley of Bellevue, Michael Breyman of Belleville, Ill., and Kurt Weaver of Bucyrus.
The bride, a 2003 graduate of Seneca East High School, graduated in 2007 from University of Toledo and in 2010 from University of Findlay. She is a physical therapist at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Seneca East High School and in 2004 from The Ohio State University. He is a food inspector at Routh Packing and also farms.
Honoring the bride with a shower were her aunt, Janet Mills, and her maid of honor and bridesmaids in April 2010.
A rehearsal dinner was at Fat Head's Restaurant, Republic.
The couple resides in Republic, following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica.
