Thomas and Joanne Shook celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, with a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, followed by a family brunch at T.J. Willie's restaurant.
They were married Oct. 15, 1960, at Reed Assumption Catholic Church by the Rev. John Martin.
Joanne is the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Holmer. She retired as chief deputy from Seneca County Probate Court after 24 years.

Thomas is the son of the late Eber and Rose Shook. He is retired from Amerisource-Bergen after 31 years as a health system accounts manager.
They are the parents of three children, Greg (Julie) Shook of Silver Lake, Brenda Manley of Canal Winchester and Lisa (Don) Sarisky of Westerville. Nine grandchildren complete their family.
A family trip is planned at a later date to celebrate their anniversary.
