David F. and Linda A. Creeger of Bascom are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, Oct. 24, 2010, with an affirmation of vows to take place at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom. A brunch with family and friends will follow at Pioneer Mill restaurant.
The Creegers were united in marriage Oct. 24, 1970, at St. Michael Annex, Findlay, by the Rev. Donald Peterson
David is the son of the late Gilbert and Lucinda (Schalk) Creeger. He is retired from Honeywell, Fostoria.

Linda is the daughter of the late James A. and Dorothy (Shimmer-Summer) Miller. She is a registered nurse at Fostoria Community Hospital.
They are the parents of two children, Andrew D. Creeger of Bascom and Kathryn A. (Richard) Dale of Cincinnati. Two grandchildren complete their family.
