Verlin and Sally Riedel of rural Sycamore will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were united in marriage Nov. 18, 1960, at Benton Methodist Church, Sycamore, with the Rev. Randall Browning officiating.
Verlin is the son of the late Robert and Edith Riedel. He is retired from General Electric and Webster Industries.

Sally is the daughter of Kathryn Rowse of Tiffin and the late Emmet Rowse. She is employed at Sycamore Medical Associates.
They are parents of four children, Dawn (Paul) Needles of Sycamore and James (Troy) Riedel, Tim (Christina) Riedel and Jennifer (Mark) Hagen, all of Tiffin. They have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
An open house celebration is 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at Sycamore Community Center, 348 SH 103, Sycamore.
