George and Ethel Stahl of Fostoria celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a party Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at the YMCA, Tiffin, hosted by their son and daughter.
Ethel Sanders became the bride of George Stahl Oct. 22, 1950, in Bowling Green with the Rev. Ralph Cain officiating.
George is the son of the late Harry and Bertha Stahl. He retired as a truck driver from Overnite Transportation in 1995 and Liquid Transport in 2010.

Ethel is the daughter of the late Bascom and Myrtle (Blanton) Sanders, and she is a homemaker.
They have one son, Kenneth (Janet) Stahl of Tiffin, a daughter, Shirley (Ron) Warner of Risingsun, one foster daugter, Judith Edwards of Lancaster, Ky., nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
