Sandusky River Watershed Coalition, in partnership with Seneca Soil and Water Conservation District, is to have a field day 1-3 p.m. Nov. 12 to share information on a new grant that is to help property owners in the Sandusky River watershed with soil conservation.

"Making Sense Out of Soil Savings" is an informational day to target property owners in the Rock, Morrison, Willow, Sugar and Spicer creeks area, and is to be conducted at T. F. Farms, US 224 between TR 159 and TR 165.

The grant is to assist with soil conservation efforts including conservation cropping practices, stream-bank stabilization, tile main blowout repairs, winter cover crops and redline waterway repairs.

For more information, contact Cindy Brookes at (419) 334-5016.
