Alana Margraf and David Stevens were united in marriage at noon Oct. 16, 2010, at All Saints Church, St. Peter Chapel, Alvada. The Rev. Randy Giesige was officiant during the double-ring, Catholic nuptial Mass. A reception followed at Sycamore Community Center.
Alana is the daughter of Steve and Connie Margraf of New Riegel.
David is the son of Joe and Pat Stevens of Alvada.
Alana, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin pick-up gown with a lace accented neckline and a chapel-length train. She carried a tight, round cluster of white roses framed in greenery and tied with ivory ribbon and wrapped with her maternal grandmother's rosary.
Gina Wertz of Tiffin was her sister's matron of honor and Melanie Margraf of New Reigel was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jodi Muller of Chicago and Kelly Stevens of Dayton, sisters of the groom. Attendants wore knee-length, A-line satin dresses in eggplant that featured halter necklines, cinched empire waists and chiffon overlays.
The attendants carried bouquets of purple hydrangeas.
Joe Stevens of Dayton was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Chris Wertz of Tiffin, brother-in-law of the bride, and Shawn Nye of Tiffin and Josh Mathias of Ashland, friends of the groom.
Flower girls were Samantha Muller and Jessice Muller, nieces of the groom.
Alana is a 2003 graduate of New Riegel High School and a 2007 graduate of University of Findlay. She is an elementary school teacher for New Riegel Schools.
David is a 2004 graduate of New Riegel High School and a 2008 graduate of University of Toledo. He is employed at Cooper Tire and Rubber Co.
Pat, Jodi and Kelly Stevens hosted a miscellaneous shower Aug. 7, 2010; Jerry and Joni Faeth hosted a couples' campfire shower Sept. 17, 2010; Connie and Melanie Margraf and Gina Wertz hosted a miscellaneous shower Sept. 19, 2010; and New Riegel School staff hosted a miscellaneous shower Sept. 20, 2010.
The rehearsal dinner was at Red Pig Inn, Findlay.
Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in New Riegel.
