Hoyda-Slaughter

Danielle Brianna Hoyda and Isaac Jeffery Slaughter exchanged wedding vows at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 19, 2011, at Ohio Memorial Chapel, Tiffin. It was a double-ring service. The reception was at Camden Falls, Tiffin.

The bride is the daughter of Lori Flory of Miamisburg and Benjamin Hoyda of Tiffin.

The groom is the son of Patty Slaughter of Lumberton, N.C., and Pamela and Jeffery Slaughter of Fremont.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore an ivory satin, spaghetti-strap gown with a train. Her headpiece was a beaded tiara attached to a waist-length veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of greenery, white carnations, blue carnations and baby's breath wrapped in silver and blue ribbon.

The attendant, the aunt of the bride, wore a light blue dress with an empire waist. She carried a bouquet of white carnations with silver ribbon.

Tasha Kipps of Bettsville, was her cousin's maid of honor, and bridesmaid was Josette Kipps, also of Bettsville, aunt of the bride.

Rhyan Slaughter of Bend, Ore., was his brother's best man. Groomsman was Daniel Flory IV, of Miamisburg, brother of the bride.

The bride, a 2009 graduate of TRECA digital academy, is pursuing an associate's degree in criminal justice and expects to complete the degree this summer. She works part-time at a Japanese restaurant.

The groom is a 2011 graduate of TRECA digital academy. He is to start college this summer and works full time at a Japanese restaurant.

Honoring the bride with a bridal shower were Tasha and Josette Kipps.

The couple resides in Lumberton, N.C.
