COLUMBUS Ohio Farm Bureau and The Longaberger Co. have partnered to create a commemorative canning basket featuring Farm Bureau's consumer brand Our Ohio.
Anyone visiting the Longaberger Homestead April 1-Nov. 8 is to have an opportunity to make their own Our Ohio basket or purchase a pre-made version handcrafted by Longaberger Basketmakers.
The Our Ohio basket is to feature red and orange splints with a silver Our Ohio tag, and the cost is $62.95 plus tax.
Farm Bureau members can expect additional member-only benefits while visiting Longaberger Homestead. Members who show their membership card are to receive a free plastic protector with the purchase of the basket. In May, members also can receive a 10 percent discount on any purchase, with the exception of food and gift certificates.
