Kelly Leigh Elchert and Aaron James Brickner exchanged wedding vows at 1 p.m. Oct. 2, 2010, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel. The Rev. Randy Giesige was the officiant during the double-ring service. An evening reception followed at Meadowbrook Ballroom, Bascom.
The bride is the daughter of Russell and Annette Elchert of New Riegel.
The groom is the son of Theresa Scherger and Daniel Scherger of Fostoria and the late Robin Brickner.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory strapless mermaid fitted gown. It was made of lace and featured a chapel train made of tulle and lace accented with sequins and bugle beads. The ivory fingertip-length veil was accented along the edges with silver beading. The bride carried a bouquet of orange and white calla lilies wrapped in ivory ribbon.
The attendants wore clove-colored satin, strapless knee-length dresses with gathers at the bust and below the latte waistband. They carried bouquets of orange calla lilies wrapped in orange ribbon.
Chelsey Ahlers of Cincinnati served as maid of honor for her friend. Bridesmaids were Meghan Scherger of Fostoria, sister of the groom; and Shannon Brickner of Fostoria and Faith Brickner of Tiffin, cousins of the groom. The junior bridesmaid was Leah Bouillon of Carey, friend of the bride.
Ashlyn Bouillon of Carey, friend of the bride, and Conner Berrier of Tiffin, cousin of the groom, were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.
David Gibbons of Dayton served as best man for his friend. Groomsmen were Clint Elchert of New Riegel, brother of the bride; Bryan Scherger of Fostoria, brother of the groom; Brian Cover of Fostoria, friend of the groom; and Andrew Schalk of New Riegel, friend of the bride.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of New Riegel High School and a 2010 graduate of University of Cincinnati with a bachelor of science degree in advanced medical imaging technology. She is employed at University of Cincinnati as an adjunct professor of sonography and at Evendale Imaging Center as an ultrasound technologist.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and a 2010 graduate of University of Cincinnati with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He is a design engineer at Kinetic Vision.
Honoring the bride with miscellaneous couples showers were Theresa and Daniel Scherger in July 2010, Russell and Annette Elchert in August 2010 and a work shower by Chelsey Ahlers in September 2010.
A rehearsal dinner was at Bubby's, New Riegel.
The couple resides in Milford, following a weeklong honeymoon in Darby, Mont.
