Richard and Doris Williams will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 5 p.m. Mass Saturday, April 9, 2011, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, followed by an open house at New Riegel American Legion.
They were married April 8, 1961, at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church by the Rev. Stanislaus Wojciechowski.
Richard is the son of the late Clarence and Corinne Williams.

They are parents of eight children, Donna (Steve) Frank, Norma (Rick) Steiner and Thomas, all of Tiffin, Susan (Roger) Steinmetz of Bellevue, Rose (Bruce) Gunner of Maumee, John (Leslie) of Carey, Debra (Jerry) Hanna of Alvada and David (Shelly) of New Riegel. They have 18 grandchildren who complete their family.
