Seneca One Stop schedules workshops

Seneca One Stop offers numerous services and resources for job seekers and employers. Seminars are free and open to anyone in the community.

The seminars also are available to be customized for employers and delivered on site.

The following are upcoming workshops at Department of Jobs and Family Services, 3362 S. TR 151, Tiffin:

8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday "Market Yourself for Success Workshop." Information and job search tips are to be presented and Ohio Means Jobs, the state job search website, is to be demonstrated.

Upcoming classes are to include:

8 a.m.-4 p.m. May 16 "Individual Resume Writing Assistance." Participants are to work one-on-one with a specialist and produce a good resume before leaveing. By appointment only.

The following are free computer classes, but registration is required:

9 a.m. to noon May 11 Introduction to computers.

9 a.m. to noon May 18 Introduction to Word.

9 a.m. to noon May 23 File Manager.

Seneca One Stop is a collaboration of 23 partners in Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky and Seneca counties and is funded by those organizations through the Workforce Investment Act.

Seneca One Stop is open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday, and 7:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

All basic services are free.
