Youth farm safety courses to take place this June

FINDLAY - A tractor safety training course is to be offered to youth in June by local Farm Bureau chapters at University of Findlay Animal Science Center in Findlay.

Students 12 and older are invited to participate 9 a.m.-4 p.m. June 18 and students ages 14-16 who want to become certified can continue June 25.

Training is to focus on zero-turn mowers, small tractors and implements, grain bin safety and all-terrain vehicle safety.

Registration is due June 13. Fee is $20 for non-members and $15 for members, which includes materials and lunch. Checks should be made payable to Seneca County Farm Bureau.
