About 20 children have registered for Stein Hospice's annual Camp Good Grief 10 a.m.-2 p.m. June 6-10 at Hedges-Boyer Park.

The camp is for children ages 5-13 who are coping with the loss of a loved one.

A number of special activities are planned.

At 10:15 a.m. June 6, a dog owner and dog from the Paws Up team is to address the campers. Participants are to make "feeling masks," using paint, glitter and other materials 12:45-1:45 p.m. June 7. Campers are to wear the masks to talk about their feelings. A Stein nurse is to lead the children in a dance exercise June 8, and the camp concludes June 10 with a 10 a.m. visit by animals from Kalahari and a 1 p.m. balloon release and graduation ceremony.

The cost is $10 to cover materials (scholarships are available).
