FINDLAY - The Arts Partnership is to uncork some fun at the third annual Reineke Family Dealership's Riverside Wine Festival, noon-8 p.m. June 25 at Riverside Park in Findlay.
The event is to feature 10 Ohio wineries, craft beer tastings, local gourmet foods, fine arts and crafts, live entertainment, art invitational, demonstrations and more.
Attendees also are to be able to purchase a variety of fine foods from local restaurants.
Live entertainment is to be provided by musicians covering a variety of genres. Opening the festival at noon is to be acoustic guitarist, Tim Oehlers. Playing at 2 p.m. is The Millstream Mojo Blues Band. Based in Houma, La., is Josh Garrett and The Bottomline who is to be taking the stage at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to play a mix of blues and funk.
A variety of demonstrations also are to take place at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
Kan Du Studio is to be doing a "Community Collaboration" demonstration which is to invite the community to create along side their artists during these demonstration times.
Ann Boyd who owns My Own Backyard Herbs and Flowers is to provide a seminar titled: "The Oenophiles Pantry," simple delicious bites for wine from your kitchen and garden.
Ann Hermiller is to present a decadent dessert demonstration on how to make a cappuccino cheesecake.
Hancock County Home Brewers Association is to demonstrate home brewing of beer and wine.
Dan Matheny, co-owner of The Findlay Wine Merchant is to present two wine sessions.
Admission is $18 in advance (through June 24) and $20 at the gate. Admission includes a commemorative glass and 10 one-ounce tastings throughout the day. Event attendees may purchase additional tasting tickets, glasses of wine and sealed bottles to take home. Those under 21 and non-tasters can attend for $10. Children in strollers are free.
