Making a mark

Volunteer Emily Buckell puts prices on some toys at the Friends’ Market going on 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today and Friday in Elizabeth Schafer Auditorium at St. Francis in Tiffin. Shoppers can find books, household goods, furniture, collectibles, exercise gear, home decor, clothing for adults and children and a variety of other used merchandise. Also included is a bake sale and a café offering sandwiches, snacks and drinks for 50 cents each. Saturday, the sale hours are 9 a.m.-noon with a bag sale on a donation basis. Proceeds from the event are to benefit the sisters’ mission in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
