Krista Renea Mylander and Ryan Matthew Schumm of Republic have announced their engagement and approaching wedding.
The future bride is the daughter of Steve and Judy Mylander of Oak Harbor. She graduated in 2004 from Fremont Ross High School and in 2008 from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Her fiance is the son of Steve and Barb Schumm of Tiffin. He graduated in 2001 from Calvert High School and works as a dialysis technician at DaVita, Tiffin.
