Kirstin Nicole Goist and Charles Hugh Hinton have announced their engagement and approaching Aug. 6, 2011, wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Eugene and Nicole Goist of Sycamore. She graduated in 2007 from Mohawk High School and in 2011 from Heidelberg University with a bachelor's degree in education.
Her fiance is the son of Debra Hinton of Fostoria and the late Hugh Hinton. He graduated in 2008 from Fostoria High School and attended Bowling Green University.
