Amanda Roselle Hersman and Ryan Michael Fretz of Las Vegas have announced their engagement and upcoming July 30, 2011, wedding.
Amanda is the daughter of Kim and Penny Hersman of Mansfield. She graduated from Mansfield High School in 1999 and The Ohio State University in 2005 with a master's degree in middle childhood education. She is a math teacher at Faiss Middle School, Las Vegas.
Ryan is the son of Richard and Sue Fretz of Tiffin. He graduated from Columbian High School in 1998 and from Heidelberg College in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in education. He received a master's degree in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University in 2009. He is a U.S. history teacher at Desert Oasis High School, Las Vegas.
