Tiffin-Seneca United Way online auction to start Monday

Tiffin-Seneca United Way is to again host an online auction, titled "Building Bridges." The auction is to take place Monday through Aug. 30.

The United Way auction raises funds to help keep services of 23 United Way partner agencies available for community members in need.

Many local businesses and individuals have donated items, services, gift certificates and tickets for the auction. Bidding is to begin at 8 a.m. Monday.

Items are to include six dozen Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate cookies; Starbuck's gift cards; golf packages at Seneca Hills, Clinton Heights and Mohawk golf courses; a fire pit; fire extinguishers; wall safes; a hand-made stained glass lamp; a Ballreich's Potato Chip basket of goodies; tickets to a Toledo Mud Hens game; a DeWalt drill/driver combo kit; a rotisserie and barbecue oven; a Presto deep fryer; Columbia Sportswear sunglasses; a beer lover's special; a Bud Light party pack; a three-month subscription to The Advertiser-Tribune and a personal ad; a Black and Decker 2.7-cubic-foot refrigerator with freezer, Boy Scout kettle corn, and gourmet popping corn, a handmade contemporary iron plant stand; a 2004 U.S. Mint proof set; a full-body massage; a one-hour massage; an Ohio State fan package; a Nook with WiFi; a Cleveland Cavaliers Fathead wall graphic; a tool box grill; a Tiffin University cooler; a six-month adult membership, a six-month family membership and a one-year youth membership at Tiffin Community YMCA; a three-piece disc golf set and bag; an Hitachi external hard drive/back up computer; a car care with detailing; heavy metal yard stakes - Ohio State Buckeyes, Columbian and Calvert; a Carruth Studio sculpture,; a soda stream machine; a hand painting by local artist Ella Mae Peters; a wash, cut and style by Melissa; and gift certificates to Ralph's Joy of Living, Threads, Tiffin Bake Shop and local restaurants.

A variety of items and services donated by local businesses and individuals may be viewed by visiting www.tsunitedway.org.

New items are to be entered daily.
