Offering salon-quality beauty products, Sally Beauty Supply has opened in Tiffin in the Westgate Shopping Center, 748 A W. Market St.
Jan Roberts, director of corporate communications for Sally Beauty Holdings Inc., said Monday the company looks for locations that have a peak number of residents who are Beauty Club Card customers. Tiffin was among 70 to 90 locations the company adds yearly.
The store's products appeal to regular consumers and salon professionals.
"Anyone can shop in our stores," Roberts said. "About 70 percent are regular customers and 30 percent are professionals. The difference is that we sell professional product; we don't have the same product that you would find in drugstores."
Shoppers can choose from more than 6,000 products for hair, skin and nails. The brands include L'Oreal Technique, Clairol Professional, Conair Professional, Ion, Palladio and Silk Elements. The store also carries nail care products such as FingerPaints, China Glaze and Orly nail enamels, and skin treatment lines such as Correctionist.
There are more than 2,900 Sally Beauty Supply stores in eight countries.
