Janelle Mattson and Forrest Phillips exchanged wedding vows at 5 p.m. April 19, 2011, in Negril, Jamaica. The Rev. Winston was the officiant during the double-ring ceremony.
Janelle is the daughter of Patricia and Dennis Mattson of Republic. Forrest is the son of Tracy Phillips of Marion.
Janelle, given in marriage by her father, wore a white English net, strapless gown with a fitted bodice that featured a sweetheart neckline and a full skirt highlighted with taffeta and organza flowers. She wore a crystal tiara and carried a bouquet of pink and orange roses and white orchids.

Lisa Phillips of Columbus, friend of the couple, was maid of honor. She wore an A-line halter, strawberry pink dress. Chad Mattson of Republic, brother of the bride, was the best man. Flower girl was Chloe Weidinger of Peotone, Ill., goddaughter of the bride.
Janelle is a 1998 graduate of Seneca East High School and she is employed as a server at Fathead's, Republic.
Forrest is a 1999 graduate of River Valley and he is employed as the manager of Ralphy's Sports Bar, Marion.
Lisa Phillips and Patty Mattson hosted a bridal shower March 12, 2011, followed by a bachelorette party later that evening. The bride's parents hosted a reception for the newlyweds July 3, 2011, at their home.
Following the ceremony, the couple spent seven days in Negril and three days in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
