Dan and Judy Coppes celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a western Caribbean cruise and a family dinner.
They were married June 10, 1961, at First Lutheran Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. Wayne A. Kantner.
Dan is the son of the late Don and Jane Coppes. He is retired from Guardian, Upper Sandusky.

Judy is the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy Swander. She is retired from Tiffin Developmental Center.
They are parents of four children, Steve (Kim) Coppes of Bloomville, Beth (Bob Bergline) Coppes of Bellevue, Wendy (Dave) Strobel of Tiffin and Kelly (Chandler Grunstad) Coppes of Fort Wayne, Ind. Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren complete their family.
