Whitney Cephas and Alan Hammer were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. The Rev. Nicolas Weibl was officiant for the double-ring service. A reception follwed at The Brugeman Lodge, Findlay.
Whitney is the daughter of Julie and Scott Hoyer of Columbus and Rodney Cephas of Findlay.
Alan is the son of Mary Jo and Duane Hammer of Fostoria.

Angie Hawkins was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Finsel, Shallon Gabel, Ann Reinhart and Korie Gesler, friends of the couple, and Jennelle Warnement, sister of the groom.
Justin Hammer was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Jordan Hay, John Basel, James Nye and Joel Seibert, friends of the couple, and Sean Clinger, cousin of the groom.
Flower girls were Arabella Hawkins and Aidan Wonderly, nieces of the bride.
Whitney is a 2006 graduate of St. Wendelin Catholic High School and is an art major at The University of Toledo. She also works at Toledo Art Museum.
Alan is a 2006 graduate of St. Wendelin Catholic High School and is a graduate student at The University of Toledo. He also works as a grad assistant at UT.
The couple resides in Toledo.
