Cheryl King and Joe Walter exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. June 4, 2011, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Attica. The Rev. Paul Fahrbach was officiant during the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed in Wickham Great Hall at Heidelberg University.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Nancy King of Attica.
The bridegroom is the son of John and Carol Walter of Cincinnati.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an off-white silk taffeta one-shoulder trumpet-style gown by Manuel Mota for Pronovias. The fitted bodice was accented by asymmetrical folds, the zip-back was concealed with buttons and looping, and the gown had a cathedral-length train. Her veil was triple-tiered and fingertip-length with alternating layers of tulle and netting fastened over a comb. She carried a bouquet of white and lavender irises, stock, large gerbera daisies, daisies and lisianthus.
Amy Keefer of Perry was her sister's matron of honor. Leslie King of Westlake was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen King of New Washington, Julia Philipson of Athens and Stephanie Krawec of Cincinnati.
The bridesmaids wore various styles of silk chiffon dresses in soft lavender from JCrew. They carried bouquets of purple and lavender gerbera daisies, stock, irises, white daisies and green Yoko Ono. The bouquets were accented with seeded eucalyptus and tied with burlap.
Caroline Walter, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl. Zach Walter, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer. Both are from Cincinnati.
Jason Walter and Tony Walter of Cincinnati were their brother's best men. Groomsmen were Chris Bovard of Cincinnati, Kevin Geiger of Athens and Lou Cassaro of Cincinnati.
The bride graduated in 2001 from Seneca East High School, in 2005 from Heidelberg University and in 2007 from Ohio University. She is an immigration coordinator for international students at The Ohio State University.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Elder High School and in 2005 from the University of Cincinnati. He is a human resource generalist at Nestle in Dublin, Ohio.
Honoring the bride with miscellaneous showers were Peg Walter, Rita Barga, Amy Keefer, Leslie King and colleagues in the office of international affairs at Ohio State.
A rehearsal dinner was at Pioneer Mill, Tiffin.
The couple honeymooned in Kuai'i, Hawaii, and live in Columbus.
