Cyril and Mary Ellen Gosche of rural New Riegel celebrated their 60th wedding anniversay Sept. 17, 2011, with a Mass of thanksgiving at 5:30 p.m. at St. Patrick and Andrew Church.
They were married Sept. 15, 1951, at St. Nicholas Church, Frenchtown, by the Rev. Marcellus Lell.
Cyril is the son of the late Claude and Eleanor Gosche. He is retired from General Electric and farming.

Mary Ellen is the daughter of the late Leo and Eulalia Hoepf. She retired as secretary of St. Patrick, Bascom, and St. Andrew, Liberty Township.
They are parents of six children, Ron (Donna) Gosche of Fostoria, Dick (Linda) Gosche and Larry (Cindy Holman) Gosche of Bascom, Joe (Anita) Gosche of New Riegel, the late Mary Ann (Jerry of Tiffin) Kimmet and Jim (Lori) Gosche of Tiffin. Completing the family are 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
