Erika Lynn Spitler and Carson Orians, both of Carey, announce their engagement and approaching Dec. 10, 2011, wedding.
Erika is the daughter of Thomas and Shirley Spitler of Upper Sandusky. She is a 2004 graduate of Mohawk High School and a 2008 graduate of Heidelberg University. She is employed as the seventh-grade language arts and social studies teacher at Bucyrus Secondary School.
Carson is the son of Kyla and Jim Nordyke and Cliff and Jean Orians, all of Upper Sandusky. He is a 2000 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and a 2005 graduate of Owens Community College. He is employed with Wyandot County.
